Case Manager
">About the RoleThis position involves working closely with injured workers to assist in the processing of their Workers Compensation claim during a challenging time after a workplace accident or injury.
">- Manage and process claims for injured workers claiming reimbursement and cost coverage of various medical expenses to support recovery.
- Review, monitor and approve requests for compensation for medical/surgical treatment.
- Ensure appropriate documentation is received to process reimbursements for treating health providers and injured workers.
The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills, including the ability to learn and use systems/databases. Resilience, exceptional time management and organisational skills are also required.
">- Take and make a high volume of client and customer calls regarding claims outcomes, updates, and service.
- Use claims management systems and databases to record and review claims information, ensuring privacy and accuracy.
To be successful in this role, you will have previous work experience in a customer service-based role, including medical administration, employment services, rehabilitation, mental health, social work or health & safety.
">A tertiary study in Psychology, social work or similar is beneficial but not essential.
