We are currently seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer to join our Energy business in Sydney, Australia. This role offers a unique opportunity to bring your technical expertise and passion for sustainability to a dynamic team of specialists who are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions for clients across all types of energy infrastructure.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering and power systems theory, as well as experience with power system modelling software such as PSSE, PSCAD and Powerfactory. They will also be degree qualified and have at least 5-10 years' post-graduation experience in a power industry role as a consultant or power project developer/owner/operator.

In this role, you will play a key part in advising clients on the development and implementation of power generation projects, energy storage projects, and power networks operation. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with other specialists in power systems analysis and planning to deliver complex projects that meet the needs of our clients.

Aurecon offers a competitive salary range of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible work hours, remote work options, working holidays, part-time and job share arrangements. You will also have access to a comprehensive learning program, mentoring and career support to help you achieve your goals.
