About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fitter to join our team at PepsiCo Australia & New Zealand. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform troubleshooting, planned preventative maintenance, and corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Conduct minor installations and commissioning work as required.
  • Work in a professional, timely, and safe manner, adhering to all PepsiCo standards and procedures.
  • Update and extract data from the Computerised Maintenance Management System; SAP PM.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify, document, and implement improvements to maintenance work methods and procedures, as well as to plant and equipment, to enhance machine availability, quality, and safety.
Requirements
  • Mechanical Engineering qualifications to Trade Certificate 3 as a minimum (a Boiler Certificate advantageous).
  • Experience in troubleshooting and fault finding to solve problems using a systematic approach.
  • Experience in preventative maintenance within an FMCG food industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and safely under pressure.
  • A flexible attitude, willingness to work overtime, attend training, and work on other shifts as required.
