Job Description

As a Transformational Project Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting fortnightly reporting for key stakeholders
  • Assisting in the management of all Variation/TQ/RFI and action registers, control, and update the risk matrix
  • Monitoring, controlling, and reporting project progress against multiple project timelines, milestones, and key performance indicators
  • Identifying and documenting potential risks and developing effective control strategies to minimize these
  • Assisting with the interface between engineering team members, sub-contractors, and key stakeholders to provide solutions and support successful delivery of projects

You will work closely with our collaborative multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. If you have experience working on complex projects and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An engineering degree with a mechanical, process, or piping background
  • 5-10 years of experience in operating across a range of multi-discipline teams to achieve project goals and objectives
  • Site work experience relating to high-pressure natural gas facilities (either construction, commissioning, or operations)
  • A positive attitude and willingness to travel (short non-rostered stints of 4-5 days on site as per project requirements)
  • Experience in planning, scheduling, and monitoring projects
  • Experience in engaging and supervising multi-discipline teams
  • Experience in preparing tender documents and managing the tender process
  • Experience in managing sub-contractors
