About the Opportunity
This role will challenge you to design, develop, and prototype new RF and microwave components and electronic subsystems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products that meet customer requirements and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop RF and microwave components and electronic subsystems using modern tools and software.
- Conduct RF line-up budget calculations, modeling, and simulation using software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office.
- Qualify new products through testing and documentation, including antenna testing and EMI/EMC testing.
- Participate in the generation of formal bids and quotations.
- Work with customers to present design details and documentation during review.
- Review project schedules and meet financial and time constraints.
- Take part in the manufacture and test of modules.
- Provide engineering leadership to small multi-disciplinary teams to ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Maintain a focus on producing high-quality products and recommend enhancements that promote customer satisfaction or cost reductions.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience with RF modeling and simulation software packages such as CST Microwave Studio and Microwave Office.
- Experience with software such as Altium or equivalent for schematics and PCB design.
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience in a production environment and product development.
- Experience in generating engineering plans, design documentation, and work-breakdown-structures.
- Experience in working with customers to understand project requirements and generating specifications.
