Regional Sales Manager Job Description

This is a key role for a Regional Sales Manager who will drive customer engagement across Australia and Oceania, fostering strong relationships through direct and digital interactions. The ideal candidate will execute strategic sales and marketing activities aligned with sustainability, digital innovation, and energy transition initiatives.

  • The successful candidate will lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring compliance with global standards and project requirements.
  • They will analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and high-growth sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Drive customer engagement across Australia & Oceania, fostering strong relationships through direct and digital interactions.
  • Execute strategic sales and marketing activities aligned with sustainability, digital innovation, and energy transition initiatives.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle, ensuring compliance with global standards and project requirements.
  • Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and high-growth sectors.
  • Maintain performance reporting, contribute to continuous improvement, and meet or exceed sales targets.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business (or equivalent experience).
  • Industry-related experience, including complex tenders and contract negotiation.
  • Background in quality assurance/management and knowledge of quality standards systems.
  • Trusted relationship and stakeholder management, customer-oriented mindset.
  • Business acumen and understanding of industry trends.
  • Clear communication, strong negotiation, and persuasive skills.
