Risk Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced operational risk manager to lead our risk and compliance capabilities.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that offers an excellent opportunity for professionals to broaden their impact across new business areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Strengthen risk and compliance capabilities by providing trusted advice to the business
- Design, implement, and assess controls aligned to operational and compliance risk frameworks
- Lead structured root cause analysis and resolution planning for incidents, Risk and Control Self Assessments (RCSA's), and Compliance Self Assessments (CSA's)
- Draft reports and deliver insights through dashboards and trend analysis to inform senior stakeholders and governance forums
As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen our risk and control environment. You will need to have strong expertise in operational risk and compliance, as well as commercial practicality and stakeholder influencing skills.
Requirements:- Proven experience in operational risk and compliance within financial services, ideally retail banking and risk repositories
- Expertise in control design, implementation, and assurance, as well as issue management
- Strong communication and advisory skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business units and senior stakeholders
