UGL plays a crucial role in supporting the Australian Defence Force across various locations nationwide.

The company is seeking qualified tanker drivers to join its Operations & Maintenance team at the HMAS Albatross Base in the NSW Shoalhaven Region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate fuel tanker trucks around the fuel installation and defence base.
  • Work closely with operators to safely load fuel tank trucks.
  • Deliver fuel to designated refuelling points or aircraft on runways.
  • Operate pumps on tanker trucks to ensure effective fuel delivery.
  • Communicate with internal and external teams for good customer experience.
  • Support broader operations teams and perform duties within fuel installations when required.
Requirements:
  • Hold a HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence.
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential.
  • Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry is highly regarded.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams.
  • Current holder of relevant security clearances.
  • Live locally or willing to relocate to Nowra, NSW or nearby suburbs.
