Aviation Tanker Driver Opportunity

This role presents an exciting chance to be part of the Defence sector, supporting national security needs.

The Role:
  • Operate a fuel tanker truck around the defence base and fuel installation
  • Work closely with operators to load fuel safely
  • Deliver fuel to designated refuelling points or aircraft on the runway
  • Use pumps to ensure efficient fuel delivery to aircraft
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external teams for excellent customer experience
  • Support the broader operations team and perform duties within the fuel installation as required
Key Requirements:
  • Highest Category (HC) Driver Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence are essential
  • Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is crucial
  • Familiarity with the fuel service and/or Defence industry is highly valued
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in diverse teams are necessary
  • Current holder or ability to obtain relevant security clearances is required
  • Living locally or relocating to Nowra, NSW or nearby suburbs is desirable
