Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice to support Origin Energy's compliance with competition law and energy regulations.
- Support Origin Energy in managing and resolving regulatory investigations, disputes, and litigation.
- Proactively identify and address competition law and energy regulatory risks across the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external legal service providers to deliver practical, business-focused legal solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal processes, cost-effectiveness, and overall team culture.
- Australian qualified and admitted lawyer with at least 5 years of post-admission experience.
- Significant experience in advising on Australian competition law, as well as managing or responding to regulatory investigations and disputes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize in a high-demand, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex legal issues to a range of audiences.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and deliver beyond immediate legal matters.

- Familiarity with the energy sector and energy regulation will be favorable.
