About the Role

The Library Technology Specialist coordinates and leads innovation and technology for city libraries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing incident, request, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL and the library ICT strategy.
  • Maintaining and managing library ICT assets, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
  • Conducting regular maintenance and updates for core library systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.

This role may also involve providing customer service across multiple library locations, including evening and weekend shifts.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Library Science or a related discipline; or extensive relevant experience in ICT, library or another related field.
  • ITILv4 Framework accreditation.
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence.

  • A full-time term contract position, up to 9 months, with the possibility of extension.
  • Attractive remuneration from $96,262 to $106,006 plus 12% superannuation.
