About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Foundation Skills Trainer to join our team. As a key member of our training team, you will provide support and mentoring to students throughout their learning journey, designing and delivering dynamic training programs that cater to diverse needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing training strategies that promote access and equity for disadvantaged groups
- Building capacity through training of young people and empowering them to participate in developing a transition plan
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure a seamless learning experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with people with disability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level of written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

To be eligible for this role, you must:
- Hold a TAE40116 Certificate IV Training and Assessment or higher-level qualification
- Have NDIS Worker Clearance Screening
- Hold a VIC Working with Children's Check (WWC)
- Complete NDIS orientation
