Bakery Shop Assistant Job Description

Are you a food industry enthusiast looking to develop your skills and experience? As a key member of our bakery team, you will provide exceptional customer service, prepare food, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences and handle customer inquiries efficiently
  • Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including making coffee
  • Restock products and maintain a well-organized workspace to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform general cleaning tasks and adhere to occupational health and safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Availability to work Thursday and Saturday shifts with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed
  • Ability to work early morning shifts, including 6am starts
  • Commitment to a minimum of 18 hours per fortnight
