About the Role

The Civil Road Opening Officer will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that all road openings comply with relevant legislation and regulations. This includes assessing customer requests, managing contractors, and ensuring that civil assets are restored to Council's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with public and private entities to ensure compliance with legislation and regulations.
  • Assess customer requests and manage contractors to ensure efficient execution of road opening operations.
  • Ensure that civil assets are restored to Council's specifications, meeting quality, function, and time standards.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in road opening or civil operations.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
