Job Description

In a collaborative environment with government agencies and external stakeholders, you will contribute to the development, delivery and evaluation of strategic plans and advice for health portfolio statutory bodies.

  • Follow quality standards and occupational health and safety policies to ensure high quality services and workplaces.
  • Contribute to policy advice on governance issues relating to health statutory agencies.
  • Support senior officers in appointment processes for significant appointments to health statutory agencies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
  • Prepare timely reports, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence.
Key Skills and Qualifications

You will need to have:

  • Demonstrated organisational skills including coordination of tasks and prioritisation to achieve results within tight deadlines.
  • Ability to research and develop policy advice.
  • Demonstrated written communication skills and experience writing high-quality reports and correspondence.
  • Demonstrated verbal communication skills and achievements in cultivating productive working relationships and teamwork.
