Industrial Painting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in surface preparation, coating application, and related processes.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of experience in heavy industrial environments, with a strong background in brownfield projects. Previous experience in heavy manufacturing or continuous production is preferred.
The role requires the following skills and qualifications:
- Trade Painter certification
- Extensive insulation experience
- Working at heights
- Confined space
- Construction card
- Driver's License
The successful candidate will undergo medical and background checks, and provide relevant certificates and tickets. We encourage applications from Australian Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The role involves working alongside multi-discipline teams to deliver structural upgrades, equipment changeouts, and process improvements in complex conditions. You will be expected to work safely, maintain high quality standards, and collaborate effectively with the team.
The successful candidate will have proven ability to follow good HSE principles and behaviours, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of surfaces for coating

- Inspection and testing of coatings
- Maintenance of equipment and tools
- Collaboration with team members to achieve project goals
