The Opportunity:

  • You will lead the establishment of separate finance functions for each business entity while managing shared service operations.

Your New Role:

  1. Financial Management and Reporting:
  • Deliver reliable, strategic financial insight across both business entities.
  • Oversee financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for Rentals and Service.
Administration Leadership and Oversight:
  • Lead and develop a capable, accountable shared service team supporting both business units.
  • Manage a team of four administration staff, with scope to expand.
Systems and Process Development:
  • Establish robust internal systems to support business governance and growth.
  • Lead the transition from Xero to a fit-for-purpose finance system as required.
Strategic Leadership and Commercial Support:
  • Act as a key contributor to strategic planning, business development, and decision-making.
  • Support leadership with commercial analysis and operational advice.
Compliance, Governance, and Risk:
  • Ensure sound governance practices, legal compliance, and commercial resilience.
  • Liaise with external accountants for compliance, GST, FBT, and tax.
