Project Delivery Specialist Role

This senior role is pivotal in supporting a rapidly expanding portfolio of work, delivering innovative IT and airborne solutions that protect and advance societal interests.

The Project Delivery Specialist will play a key part in ensuring project delivery and reporting excellence. Collaborating with the project management and technical teams, you will capture and analyze project dependencies, scope, and constraints to maintain integrity in baselined data.

  • Effectively manage and control the Contract Master Schedule (CMS), including the Work Breakdown Structure, and monitor variances against approved project baselines.
  • Collect inputs from product leads and technical teams to capture and analyze inter-dependencies, scope, risks, constraints, and milestones related to the CMS.
  • Proactively identify scheduling issues and implement mitigation strategies to support project objectives.
  • Assess project status data to inform management meetings and contribute to monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting.
  • Generate and evaluate schedule performance metrics, variance reports, and status updates; assist with program resource planning and forecasting in collaboration with Program Management and team leads.
Key Qualifications
  • Experienced Scheduler with a strong ability to engage and collaborate across complex stakeholder environments.
  • Desirable background in large, complex, defence-related projects.
  • Proficient in using MS Project for schedule development and management.
  • Skilled in creating schedules, setting and tracking baselines, and conducting updates and replanning activities.
  • Brings solid technical expertise to support project delivery in complex environments.

This position requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a Baseline level security clearance.
