Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Education or postgraduate teaching degree (Master of Teaching).
  • A desire to teach in an environment valuing Christian values and the development of the whole child, with active involvement in a Christian church.
  • 10+ years of teaching experience with a minimum of 3 years VCE English experience, with a commitment to a concept-driven, structured-inquiry approach preferred.
  • A firm knowledge of the new VCE English curriculum.
  • Current teacher registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.
  • A sound understanding of the Child Safe Standards and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, holding a current WWC check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one within six months of employment.
