Software Engineer Delivery Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Engineer to join our team as a Delivery Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, experience working with cloud-based technologies, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical guidance on the implementation of software solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering complex software solutions and enabling customers to build better products using AWS services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with pre-sales and delivery teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services
  • Deliver technical engagements with partners and customers, including understanding customer requirements, creating consulting proposals, and developing service offerings
  • Lead engagements that demonstrate the use of AWS services to support new distributed computing solutions, often spanning private and public cloud, including migration and modernization of applications and development of new applications using AWS services
Requirements:
  • Experience designing and implementing Enterprise Scale Big Data Platforms, Data Lakes and/or Data Warehouses
  • Experience leading discovery and design workshops including estimating, scoping and delivering customer proposals aligned with Analytics Solutions
  • Experience with tools such as Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, Oozie, Hue, Zookeeper, HCatalog, Solr, Avro, Parquet, Iceberg, Hudi
  • Experience developing software and data engineering code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, PySpark, Node, etc)
