Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team in providing harm reduction interventions, AOD brief interventions, and improving linkages with other health and community services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Harm Reduction Interventions: Utilize your lived experience of alcohol and other drugs to engage and support clients accessing the clinic.
  • AOD Brief Interventions: Provide evidence-based interventions to support individuals in managing their substance use.
  • Linkages: Improve connections between the Addiction health clinic and other health and community services to enhance client outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Lived Experience: Demonstrated ability and relevant skills acquired through a lived experience of AOD use in providing services to people who use drugs.
  • Qualification: AOD specific qualification equivalent to (or above) Certificate IV in Alcohol or Other Drug Work.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a harm reduction program.
