Job Title: First Aid Officer

Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced First Aid Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first aid services to students and staff, administering medications, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first aid services to students and staff in accordance with school policies and DET guidelines
  • Administer daily and as-required medications in accordance with school policies and DET guidelines
  • Record all sick bay visits and communicate with parents/carers when necessary
  • Maintain Anaphylaxis, allergy, asthma, diabetes and other medical records
  • Ensure all medical alerts are current and communicated effectively to relevant staff
  • Ensure medical supplies are maintained at all times and first aid bags and kits are regularly checked and restocked

Requirements:

  • A Level 2 First Aid Qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
