Job Summary

The Wardsperson/Porter is a vital member of our hospital team, responsible for providing exceptional support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transporting patients to and from the theatre in a safe and timely manner
  • Assisting in the day-to-day function of the DSU and PACU with efficiency and precision
  • Restocking equipment in clinical areas to ensure seamless operations
  • Removing rubbish and soiled linen, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment
  • Providing support to clinical staff as needed, enhancing patient care and satisfaction

About You:

This role suits an individual with experience in manual handling, excellent interpersonal, and communication skills. To succeed, you will have a passion for delivering high-quality client care and a strong focus on teamwork.

You will be self-motivated, demonstrate a good work ethic, including punctuality, integrity, respect for others, and commitment to professional practice.
