About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Bupa Dural, a modern care home in Sydney's Hills District. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-first care to our residents, ensuring their health, lifestyle, and well-being are prioritized.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care: Provide safe and effective care to our residents, adhering to best practices and legislative requirements.
  • Medication administration: Ensure accurate and timely medication administration, in line with resident needs and legislative requirements.
  • ACFI assessments: Support the Clinical Care Manager with the management and completion of the EN ACFI assessments.
  • Handovers and communication: Actively engage in handovers with the Clinical Care Team to ensure continuity of care across shifts.
  • Care planning and evaluation: Participate in person-first care planning and evaluation for residents.
  • Legislative compliance: Adhere to all relevant legislative requirements and quality guidelines.
Requirements
  • Diploma of Nursing (Endorsed): A recognized qualification in nursing, with a focus on aged care.
  • AHPRA registration: Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is essential.
  • Experience in aged care: A proven track record of delivering personal care within an aged care setting.
  • Teamwork and communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a tight-knit team.
  • Clinical observation skills: Good clinical observation skills, with a strong understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes.
