About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Documentation Improvement Specialist to join our team at North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS). As a key member of our clinical documentation improvement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of clinical documentation across our hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and supervise all aspects of clinical documentation review processes in NMHS hospitals.
  • Lead and conduct clinical documentation review or other clinical documentation specific projects for North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) hospitals.
  • Supervise Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Analysts.
  • Provide education and clinical documentation advice to Senior Clinicians and Heads of Department to improve the quality of NMHS clinical documentation.
  • Provide advice on clinical documentation to deliver the CDI Program.

We are seeking candidates with leadership and management experience within a complex multidisciplinary service environment with specialist experience in clinical document improvement. You will have a strong understanding of clinical documentation best practices and be able to provide expert advice to clinicians and other stakeholders.
