Operations Manager

Job Description:

The role of an Operations Manager is to oversee the daily operations of programs, working closely with a team of professionals. This involves implementing policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children in care.

As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, including staff rostering, planning and delivery of engaging activities, and communication with schools, parents, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include implementation of program policies and procedures, management of daily operations, delivery of engaging experiences for children, and communication with external parties.

In this role, you will work closely with the Area Managers to ensure that programs are delivered to a high standard and that all necessary measures are in place to support the wellbeing of children.

You will also be responsible for conducting regular audits and evaluations of programs to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing quality services to children and families, and who has strong leadership and management skills.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Children's Services or related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar leadership role
  • Proven leadership and management experience
  • Strong knowledge of regulations and standards relevant to OSHC programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound financial management skills
