Matrix Education, NSW's leader in tuition for year 3 to 12 students, is expanding its operations in Melbourne.
We are now hiring experienced Teachers in English, Maths, and Science to join our team at Box Hill campus.
This casual teaching position offers the perfect blend of stability and flexibility. You will have regular classes each week, with opportunities to pick up substitute teaching shifts during VIC school holidays. All lessons and assessments are carefully prepared for you, minimizing your prep time.
We value Teachers who are subject matter experts, passionate about their area of expertise, and can communicate complex ideas clearly. Our team consists of a diverse group of high school and primary Teachers, corporate professionals, university teaching staff, and postgraduate candidates and students.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the academic term, utilizing pre-prepared lesson materials and resources;
- Participating in teaching opportunities on weekdays during VIC school holiday periods;
- Ongoing monitoring of student progress through short weekly quizzes and flagging struggling students for additional support;
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for teaching and dedication to helping students succeed;
- Previous experience teaching secondary English, Maths, or Science in a classroom setting;
- Extensive knowledge of the current VCE curriculum in your subject area;
- A degree in Education or a related field.
