About Us

Alma Nove, a premier fine dining venue on Manly beach, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Manager to join our launch team. With a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, we are committed to creating a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition, benefits include flexible rosters, access to meals on shift, discounts on merchandise and food & beverage items, training and orientation, career development opportunities, and scope for growth within our organization.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to lead our operations, ensuring seamless execution of events, efficient service delivery, and maintaining high standards of quality. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and current F&B trends, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
  • Proven experience in an assistant management position, preferably in a fine dining or wine venue;
  • An understanding of profit measures, the ability to manage costs and productivity, and drive to exceed sales goals;
  • A passion for recruiting and training talented individuals who will be future leaders within the business;
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused mindset;
  • Ability to maintain a calm manner while thriving in a fast-paced environment;
  • Previous experience managing functions and private events;
  • Proficient in Lightspeed (or similar POS systems) and Open Table (or similar online booking systems);
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to go above and beyond.
