About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Contract Administrator to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of projects, coordinating with tenderers, and supporting the preparation of scopes and negotiation of subcontracts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing tender documentation for trade packages.
  • Coordinating with tenderers.
  • Supporting the preparation of scopes and negotiation of subcontracts.
  • Assisting with document control alongside the design team.
  • Helping to administer head contract and subcontractor progress claims.
  • Assisting in the preparation and response to head contract and subcontract variations.
  • Setting up and maintaining project control registers.
  • Aiding in authority applications and liaising with relevant authorities.
  • Contributing to the preparation of monthly cost reports and fulfilling other head contract obligations.
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
  • Preferably 3 years of experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with contract administration.
  • Solid understanding of construction practices, methods, and materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
