Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Lighting Designer to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative environment, utilizing their expertise to create inspirational lighting designs for clients.

The role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and using this information to create tailored lighting solutions that meet their requirements. This may involve reading and interpreting house and electrical plans, as well as conducting lighting energy audits.

As a Lighting Designer, you will be responsible for building the design business by proactively seeking project opportunities in the retail and trade markets. You will also be required to recommend products and placement solutions to enhance your client's environment, and pitch in to support your team to ensure business goals are met.

Requirements
  • Experience in design/related field preferable
  • Previous experience in sourcing new business and generating leads
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with your customers
  • Energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise your work effectively
  • Strong attention to detail
