We are seeking a highly skilled Design and Technology teacher to join our team on a temporary full-time basis from 31 January 2025 to 29 August 2025.

Job Description

The Secondary TAS Teacher will be responsible for teaching Stage 5 Design and Technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive, contemporary, and authoritative professional knowledge and understanding of the teaching of technology and the factors that influence learning and the development of skills.

The successful applicant will use effective pedagogies, a range of differentiated assessment approaches, and a wide variety of stimulating and interactive resources to enhance student learning outcomes. They will build effective relationships, manage complex interactions, and balance the development of skills and knowledge.

The Design and Technology teacher will create engaging, intellectually challenging, and safe learning environments through planning, implementing, and evaluating rigorous and inclusive learning programs. They will make a positive difference to the learning outcomes of the students taught and demonstrate a commitment to unleashing the potential of each student.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $95,000 - $110,000 based on the NSW Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020.
