The Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven leader to drive business growth and excellence in our rapidly expanding machinery, equipment, and portable building hire business. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for driving business performance through strategic leadership, business planning, operations management, sales development, supply chain optimization, and superior customer experience delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team to achieve sales, service, inventory, and profit targets.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety policies and compliance standards.
  • Develop business strategies and foster a sales environment that retains customers.
  • Work collaboratively with the team on continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service in a professional and timely manner.
  • Be a proactive and engaging leader who inspires and motivates their team.
  • Timely and accurate management reporting.
  • Maintain insight and awareness of competitors' market trends.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in operations, sales, and service management in an industrial or wholesale environment.
  • Self-motivated and engaging leader with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Sharp business acumen in driving profitability and passion for delivering exceptional service levels.
  • Trade or engineering qualifications and tertiary education are highly regarded.
