English Teacher and Assistant Year Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic English Teacher to join our team. This permanent, full-time position also includes the role of Assistant Year Coordinator for a designated Year Group.

Key Responsibilities as an English Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to students from Years 7-10, with opportunities to teach HSC English Advanced and/or Standard.
  • Integrate ICT effectively into curriculum delivery, promoting engagement and learning.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs, ensuring accessibility and excellence in education.
  • Collaborate with a professional, collegial team to create a dynamic and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities as Assistant Year Coordinator:

  • Assist the Year Coordinator in overseeing the wellbeing, academic progress, and co-curricular involvement of students in the designated Year Group.
  • Support the implementation of Positive Education, promoting the overall mental and emotional wellbeing of students.
  • Work closely with Mentors, providing day-to-day support to ensure the success and growth of each student in your care.
