The Information Security Manager role involves overseeing the cybersecurity portfolio, managing information security activities across the organisation. This position links strategic planning and operational execution, ensuring effective management of organisational risk.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acquiring and managing resources to support information security goals
  • Overseeing the information security staffing and contracting
  • Collecting and maintaining data needed to meet system cybersecurity reporting requirements
  • Ensuring improvement actions are evaluated, validated and implemented as required
  • Continuously validating the organisation against policies, guidelines, procedures, regulations and laws to ensure compliance
  • Serving as a deputy to the senior information security leader

The successful appointee will have a broad technical knowledge of information technology, project management, governance risk and compliance, and the Information Security threat landscape.
