Childcare Educator Job

Our family is seeking a childcare educator to care for their 4-year-old child 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood education and care, be able to provide attentive care, and support the child's development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Caring for an active 4-year-old child in a home environment that requires adherence to health and hygiene practices.
  • Minimizing risk of illness by implementing effective health and hygiene strategies.
  • Providing play-based activities that encourage learning and exploration, supporting the child's emerging interests and love for books, arts, and crafts.
  • Maintaining open communication with the family about the child's daily experiences and progress.

Requirements:

  • Obtained or working towards Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care or Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board.
  • At least 3 professional references as a childcare worker.
  • WWCC, Police Check, CPR, and Level 2 First Aid certifications.
  • A car and driver's licence.
  • Commitment for at least 12 months.
  • Full working rights in Australia.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with children aged 3-5 years.
  • Knowledge of childcare regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
