Campus Transition Coordinator

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and transformational institution, as we enter an exciting new phase with our city campus under development in the heart of Perth.

The Library Services Centre plays a key role in this project, providing innovative library services including digital literacies and use of learning technologies, research skills, information resources, scholarly collections, and learning facilities that contribute to and enhance our institution's learning, teaching, and research goals.

The Campus Transition Coordinator - Library Collections will support the transition of the Library Services Centre into the new City Campus location.

The role involves coordinating the review, rationalisation, and relocation of the Library's collections across various campuses to ensure a smooth integration into the new City Campus location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing the final phase of the Library Collections review, ensuring alignment with our institution's needs and space requirements at each location.
  • Planning and coordinating the transition of Library Collections between campuses, ensuring minimal disruption to services and adherence to updated space requirements.
  • Reporting regularly on project progress to the project team and key stakeholders.
  • Developing detailed relocation plans in collaboration with the ECU City project team.
  • Collaborating on the development and implementation of communication plans to inform users about collection changes.
  • BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS AND PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS TEAMS, DIRECTORATES, AND SCHOOLS.

The successful candidate will have knowledge and experience in academic libraries, strong organisational skills, ability to work effectively in dynamic environments, commitment to delivering high-quality customer service, and ability to build cooperative relationships.
