Stock Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Stock Management Specialist to oversee the control and flow of inventory within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring adequate stock levels, availability, minimal costs, operational efficiency, and reduced losses.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Control and Monitoring: Ensure that inventory movements are recorded systematically and accurately to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Stock Management Programs: Develop and implement end-to-end monthly stock take programs, set up periodic stock counts, and ensure system accuracy and reconciliation.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze inventory data to forecast demand, identify trends, mitigate potential shortages or overstock situations.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Drive cost-saving initiatives, implement and refine inventory control procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
Requirements:
  • Proven leadership skills to provide direction and support to the team.
  • Previous experience in inventory management with a strong understanding of inventory management software and systems.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities and experience using ERPs with SAP advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, good numerical ability, and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
