Job Description

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer experiences to airline travellers. The Check-In Crew member will be at the forefront of ensuring travel documents meet requirements, assigning seats, preparing and issuing boarding passes, managing baggage, assisting with gate boarding, and handling passenger marshalling and disruption management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly at check-in.
  • Process and verify travel documents.
  • Assign seats and issue boarding passes and baggage reclaim vouchers.
  • Assist with gate boarding procedures.
  • Marshal passengers and manage disruptions as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate will possess strong safety awareness, attention to detail, team collaboration skills, punctuality and reliability, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity. Proficiency in spoken and written English, proficient computer skills, and ability to pass drug and alcohol tests are also essential.

Essential Requirements:
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • High proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol, and Audio tests.
  • Capability of obtaining an ASIC card.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
  • Capacity to undertake shifts between 4-10 hours per day.
  • Ability to work shifts spanning 05:00 - 23:00.
  • Commitment to a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight.
  • Availability for 2 weeks of full-time paid training.
