Public Relations and Marketing Executive

This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for planning and directing public relations, company events, and programs to enhance the corporate image.

The ideal candidate will have experience in competitive environments, good teamwork skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to increase the reach of products and services through digital innovation.

Key responsibilities include managing special events, organizing activities, assisting with new product introduction, and advising on media handling.

You will also be required to juggle multiple expectations across both marketing communications and other stakeholders.

  • HND in Business Administration, Public Relations/Marketing or relevant subject
  • At least 2 years' experience in Public Relations and/or Marketing
  • Good computer literacy (Word processing and spreadsheet)
  • Experience in competitive environment
  • Good teamwork skills (including virtual teaming)
  • Excellent communication skills (English, French & Creole)
  • Highly imaginative, enthusiastic and charming
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to interrelate to customers, suppliers and internal organisation effectively
  • Confident, self-assured & assertive with good negotiating skills
  • Report writing skills
  • Good work ethics
  • Driving license
  • Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Public Relations or relevant subject
  • Previous experience in Media training
  • Works well in pressurised environment
  • Good general knowledge of telecommunications industry
