About the Role

We are seeking an experienced healthcare professional to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents at Northridge Aged Care in Toowoomba. This short-term maternity leave cover role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while delivering exceptional clinical care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and oversee individualised clinical care tailored to resident needs.
  • Complete assessments, create and evaluate care plans, and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Respond to health emergencies, identify acute deterioration, and manage complex care needs including dementia, wound care, palliative care, and infection prevention.
  • Administer medications and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead and support other staff to deliver safe, compassionate care.
About You
  • AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is required.
  • Degree/postgraduate qualification in Nursing is necessary.
  • Clinical experience and knowledge of clinical care standards, ideally within aged care, are essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with residents, families, and teams are crucial, with a commitment to person-centered care and growth.
  • A valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or eligibility to obtain) are also required.
