Senior Labour Relations Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Senior Labour Relations Advisor to contribute to the development and implementation of an industrial relations strategy that aligns with business objectives and manages risk.
About the RoleThis role involves establishing and maintaining stakeholder and union relationships across the business and externally, executing and implementing Enterprise Agreement negotiation strategies, developing and adhering to policies, procedures, governance frameworks, toolkits, and training related to industrial relations matters.
- Develop and implement an industrial relations strategy that aligns with business objectives and manages risk.
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with trade unions and stakeholders.
- Execute and implement Enterprise Agreement negotiation strategies to achieve optimal business outcomes.
- Develop and adhere to policies, procedures, governance frameworks, toolkits, and training related to industrial relations matters.
- Provide expert advice and coaching to stakeholders on labour relations matters.
The successful candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline, experience in contributing to the development of an IR strategy, demonstrated 5-10 years' work experience in a Legal/Industrial relations-based role, and extensive knowledge of relevant industrial instruments (e.g., National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements).
Requirements- Tertiary qualifications in Employment Law, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
- Experience in contributing to the development of an IR strategy.
- Demonstrated 5-10 years' work experience in a Legal/Industrial relations-based role.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant industrial instruments (e.g., National Employment Standards, Fair Work Act, Enterprise Agreements).
The ideal candidate will be able to apply critical thinking to effectively resolve issues and influence stakeholders, manage investigations and disciplinary processes for the program, provide high-level strategic advice to Integrated Project Teams regarding workforce composition and planning, and demonstrate excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
