KPMG's Tax & Legal division is seeking a highly skilled Tax Governance Specialist to join our Tax Governance & Transparency team on a full-time basis.

This is an exceptional opportunity to shape the future of tax through ESG, leveraging your expertise in tax governance to drive innovation and forward-thinking solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to assess, enhance, and test tax governance measures and controls
  • Develop and implement market-leading digital tools to improve tax function performance
  • Evaluate tax governance frameworks and controls, identifying areas for improvement
  • Support clients in developing tax transparency reports and enhancing tax control frameworks
  • Work closely with internal and client stakeholders to define and undertake each assignment

What We're Looking For:

  • A passion for helping shape the future of tax and contributing to ESG trends
  • Experience in tax governance, risk, and compliance, or in-house advisory experience
  • Knowledge of ATO guidance on tax governance and experience in applying it
  • An enquiring mind, willing to challenge assumptions and current positions
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
