Your Responsibilities

We are in search of a proficient tax governance expert to facilitate project execution, service offerings, and business development for both existing and prospective clients across various sectors.

The Tax Governance & Transparency team manages a diverse portfolio of clients, advising them on the evaluation, enhancement, and verification of tax governance protocols and transparency reporting. Our team is dedicated to assisting clients in optimizing processes through technology and transforming tax functions.

This role allows you to collaborate with a leading team to expand, develop, and implement superior market practices. We provide guidance on board-level controls and frameworks, as well as the management of new investments alongside compliance and routine operational controls.

You will collaborate closely with team members across tax and other departments to assess, test, and improve tax governance and transparency practices for a wide array of clients, both domestic and international. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and preparing reports on various tax governance issues, while fostering professional relationships with clients and seeking opportunities for skill enhancement.

Your Role Will Involve:

  • Engaging directly with clients in workshops and discussions
  • Utilizing leading digital tools
  • Assessing tax governance frameworks and controls
  • Conducting comprehensive testing of control design and operational effectiveness, along with report preparation
  • Assisting clients in enhancing their tax control frameworks
  • Supporting clients in the creation of tax transparency reports
  • Advising on the maturity and improvement of tax function performance
  • Collaborating with various internal and client stakeholders to define and execute each assignment
  • Participating in projects with tax technical, tax transformation, ESG, and internal audit teams.

Educational Background

A degree in a relevant field such as Business, Tax, Law, Audit, or Finance/Commerce.
