Diligent Stewarding Specialist

Effective hospitality relies on diligent stewardship. We're seeking a seasoned Stewarding Manager to lead our team in maintaining impeccable kitchen facilities, ensuring seamless food preparation, and adhering to strict hygiene standards.
This crucial role oversees the daily operations of the stewarding department, guaranteeing cleanliness, organization, and maintenance of all kitchens, dishwashing areas, and back-of-house operations.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of sanitation regulations, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management:
- Oversight of daily stewarding operations, including cleanliness, sanitization, and organization of kitchen spaces.
- Maintenance of dishwashing equipment, kitchen tools, and storage areas, ensuring proper usage and care.
- Collaboration with culinary and F&B teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Inventory & Cost Control:
- Monitoring and control of inventory levels for cleaning supplies, dishware, glassware, and kitchen utensils to minimize waste and losses.
- Maintenance of accurate records of chemical usage, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
- Team Leadership & Training:
- Leadership and supervision of the stewarding team, focusing on high levels of engagement, productivity, and efficiency.
- Training and development of team members on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, equipment handling, and safety protocols.
- Hygiene & Safety Compliance:
- Ensuring compliance with hotel hygiene policies, HACCP guidelines, and local health and safety regulations.
