Mechanical Fleet Specialist

Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Fleet Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the productivity and efficiency of our mining fleet.
Your primary focus will be on the Meandu Mine site, where you will spend a minimum of 2-3 days per week. The remaining time will be spent on site visits and support for three other mines in the western Darling Downs region.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish strong working relationships with mining customers.
- Review fleet performance and troubleshoot any issues.
- Conduct machine inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in forecasting resource requirements and planning maintenance events.
- Collaborate with customers to provide innovative solutions that enhance fleet productivity.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns and work towards swift resolutions.
- Possess minimum mechanical trade qualifications.
- Have a strong technical understanding of earth moving and construction equipment.
- Be able to travel as required and spend 2-3 days per week onsite.
