Waste Management Service Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing waste management services to the facility. This includes collecting waste from disposal rooms and storage areas, transporting it to collection and processing points, as well as maintaining the waste area, vehicles, and equipment.

Responsibilities include managing general waste, recyclables, clinical and related wastes, and soiled linen.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential in this role.

Previous relevant experience in waste handling or related areas such as environmental services is required.

Knowledge of workplace health and safety principles, including safe manual handling and infection control, is also necessary.

  • Manage waste streams efficiently.
  • Transport waste to designated collection and processing points.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waste area, vehicles, and equipment.
