Job Title: Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Head Medical. As a key member of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychiatric care to infants, children, and young people across the Perth metropolitan area.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients. You will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to develop management protocols and coordinate care. Additionally, you will supervise Registrars in training and participate in safety, quality, and risk management strategies.

Requirements
  • Registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent
  • 3 years Consultant/Specialist level work experience
  • A minimum of 6 months in a formal training post in Child and Adolescent psychiatry
