About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Head Medical. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert psychiatric care to infants, children, and adolescents, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, including registrars and medical officers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and policies.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and research in child and adolescent psychiatry.
Requirements
  • Registration as a specialist with the Medical Board of Australia and Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of Consultant/Specialist level work experience in child and adolescent psychiatry.
  • A minimum of 6 months of formal training in child and adolescent psychiatry in your basic or advanced training.
