Job Title

A dedicated Test Specialist is required to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our testing processes.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional who will be responsible for applying best practices and approaches to testing activities, working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand expectations and constraints. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of identifying and mitigating risks, as well as developing and executing test cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply risk-based and requirements-based testing scope to ensure solution fit-for-purpose;
  • Collaborate with development managers and product owners on sprint planning and provide metrics on testing progress;
  • Develop and execute test cases;
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, story grooming sessions, and team retrospectives;
  • Actively collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to clarify requirements;
  • Evaluate and report test results, test progress, and product quality;
  • Manage post-implementation reviews and monitoring of systems;
  • Cordiante ad-hoc testing required to investigate, monitor and report BAU system issues/defects.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience with Solera;
  • Ability to resolve issues as they arise during various stages of testing;
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced dynamic environment;
  • Attention to details;
  • Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills;
  • Demonstrated excellent time-management skills;
  • High level of IT literacy and demonstrated ability to learn new systems;
  • Inquisitive mind;
  • Ability to self-learn (given reference material and online training).
