We are seeking an experienced Field Service Plant Mechanic to join our team based in Revesby to conduct maintenance, servicing and repairs of Hitachi and Bell earthmoving and forestry equipment.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostics, Repairs and Maintenance
  • Providing support within the Sydney metro and regional areas as required
  • Attending delivery handovers of new equipment to customer sites
  • Able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
  • Completing and submitting all relevant paperwork and reports
  • Providing timely customer service while maintaining a clean and tidy work environment in line with the company and customer standards

To be successful in this role you must possess the following skills:

  • A relevant trade qualification such as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic certificate
  • Proven experience working on earthmoving equipment
  • An MR License, Working at heights qualifications and an EWP License will be highly regarded
  • Able to navigate computer programs for diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • A strong safety focus with a sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with sound ability to meet requirements set by the company and its customers
  • Willingness to be flexible with travel, and work outside of normal trading hours to meet customer requirements
